With the weather precipitating in a liquid form in town for the last week, I have been a little hesitant to head up to the ski hill. My friends have been giving me extremely varied and mixed reviews, so this morning as I drove to work and saw that the snow line was quite low, I thought I would check it out for myself. My review: Pretty Darn Fun!

Fernie Alpine Resort enjoyed another snowy weekend with lots of cold smoke powder and fresh tracks enjoyed by everyone who braved the cooler weather.

Despite more snow falling overnight, today started with clear skies and sunshine. It looks like 1-2 more days of cold and then the weather breaks with the strong possibility of MORE SNOW!
