The Griz Inn is located at the base of Fernie Alpine Resort, a quick 5 km (3 miles) drive from the heart of Fernie. Fernie itself is located in the scenic Elk Valley in the southeastern corner of British Columbia, Canada.

From Calgary, Alberta

3.5 hour drive - Take Highway #22 to Highway #3: take the Crowsnest Highway #3 west turn off (312 km or 187 miles)

From Spokane, Washington

5 hour drive - Take Highway #95 north to Cranbrook: take the Crowsnest Highway #3 east turn off (380 km or 228 miles)

By Air

Cranbrook Airport provides daily AirBC flights with limousine service to Fernie BC. Calgary International Airport provides 24 hour service hosting major airlines. Transfers from Calgary may be arranged through our reservation office.
