With Fernie Alpine Resort opening for a preview of their summer operations this June 21/22 weekend, there’s no better time to start planning your summer mountain getaway to Fernie and the Griz Inn. From scenic chairlift rides and alpine hiking to mountain biking and breathtaking views, summer adventures are just around the corner.
After another busy off-season, our team is working hard to prepare for this summer season and it is important to remember a few operational changes when you join us for a vacation at the Griz Inn:
- Digital Concierge. With the transition to a new property management system and the moving our our operations office to downtown Fernie, we are now offering an easy, on-line and contactless process for our guests. From booking, to payment, to check-in, to inquiries during the stay, guests can complete all of these processes conveniently on-line via email, text or phone. Want to still deal with a live person? Not to worry, we still maintain a satellite office at the Griz Inn and staff are on-call 24-7 to attend to any special needs you may have.
- Keyless Access for Griz Inn. Ongoing improvements this summer and fall has meant that access to units and all common areas of the Griz Inn is now via electronic locks with keycodes. The includes access to the building via exterior doors, access to the pool and hot tub area, access to the bike storage rooms and finally access to each individual guest unit. Guests no longer have to visit the Griz Inn lobby front desk to pick up keys. Instructions with access codes will be sent to guests prior to arrival at the building.
